About the Role:
We are looking for a successful sales leader to join a successful Cloud Services department, managing a team of 6 IT Account Managers, as they deliver revenue retention and growth within an existing customer base.
The successful candidate will assure their team progress open pipeline opportunities, while remaining abreast of customer requirements and go on to achieve their targets.
Responsibilities:
- Lead a team of IT Account Managers with responsibility for their growth
- Drive daily, monthly and quarterly cadence within the team structure
- Generate new revenue through developing sales strategies and campaigns
- Build customer references across the portfolio within targeted verticals
- Demonstrate strong solution selling capabilities
- Align closely with the product and solutions engineering teams to develop sales strategies across the portfolio
Experience:
- A minimum of 5 years experience selling the business value of complex IT solutions and services in a highly competitive market
- 2+ years experience of managing a team of 3 or more direct reports
- In-depth knowledge of public cloud products (particularly Microsoft Azure and AWS) with an ability to articulate the business case for the cloud
- Experience in applying strategic account and campaign planning methodologies to achieve continuous revenue growth
